What is Jewels of Jesus?
Jewels of Jesus started in 2011. At the beginning, there were two editors, Tiffany and Esther. Later on, Tiffany left and Rachel became a new editor. Now, Esther has also left, and Rachel continues on.Jewels of Jesus is a kind of community—very small, but growing by the grace of God. It’s a place where we strive to encourage other girls and young women to become valiant women of the Lord.
Jewels of Jesus is a vision. A vision that one day, the women and girls that read this blog will some day be able to pass on to their own sons and daughters the need to live a Christ-centered life. A vision that one day, the girls who read this will be able to minister themselves to the people around them. A vision that, one day, we will be able to impact people around the world, and show them that Jesus really cares. That He is true.
Jewels of Jesus is learning to be like Jesus. None of us are perfect, and yet we all long to be. We pray that somehow people will be able to see God through our writings, and glorify Him. Our heart’s prayer is that you will grow in His love and grace as we all walk the journey of life. Life is hard sometimes. We all stumble. Founded on the Rock of the ages, though, we can stand. We will stand. May the Lord bless us as we learn to be a jewel, a light, of the Lord.

Hello! My name is Rachel Irene, and I am a daughter to the most wonderful parents, five adventurous brothers and 2 sweet sisters. My main goal in life is to glorify my risen Savior, Jesus Christ! Some things I enjoy doing are reading, studying, and memorizing God’s Word, participating in the Bible Bee, making memories with family and friends, playing piano and harp, reading (good books!☺)...so much more! I hope that my posts on here will be of encouragement to you! Please comment, they brighten my day!
Hi Rachel,
ReplyDeleteI love that you play the harp!! My sister does that and I used to. How long have you been doing it for?
Blessings,
Bonnie
Hi Bonnie! Thank you for your comment! :) That's great you and your sister play the harp! I've been playing harp since 2010, but have only owned a Harp (we rented before) since December of 2012. :) It's amazing how the Lord provided one! (to me, anyways!) I enjoy playing it, but still have a lot to learn! :)
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Rachel
