Be Strong :: Meditations on Monday

"Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the Lord thy God, he it is that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee."
Deuteronomy 31:6

"Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you."
1 Peter 5:7

"Do not strive in your own strength; cast yourself at the feet of the Lord Jesus, and wait upon Him in the sure confidence that He is with you, and works in you. Strive in prayer; let faith fill your heart-so will you be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might."

  4. Esther- When I was typing this post, I thought it needed a picture so I Googled something like, "paintings of people praying" and it popped up! I thought it was perfect, and I love it! :)

  5. Okay! :)

Just a precaution--one thing you don't want to do is take a picture off Google that is copyright someone. If you take it, and put it on a blog (any blog) without permission, you could be fined hundreds of dollars for illegally using such pictures. I have a list of websites where you can get free (basically public domain) pictures to use on blogs/websites with a short attribution ("Photo Credit" with a link, etc.), and I could send you that list if you wanted it.

Just something to be careful of in the future! :)

  6. Esther - oops! :/ I wouldn't want that to happen! Do you think I should remove the picture? Yes, please, send me the links!

  7. No, you wouldn't. What if we leave it up until I send you the links, and then you replace it then? I'll try to get the links sent this morning. :) Be warned--there's quite a pile!
