It's not exactly a healthy recipe, but is for a time you want something sweet, filling, and popcorny:)
POPCORN BALLS
Have ready 1 1/2 gallons or 24 cups of popped popcorn in a big dish pan or bowl. Set aside.
Into a saucepan put these ingrediants:
2 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/4 tsp. cream of tarter
1'4 cup water
2 1/2 TB margarine
Put the saucepan on the stove and turn the heat on high. Stir well. When it starts to boil turn the heat down to medium and time it for five minutes. Take the saucepan off the burner right away after that.
Now stir in 1/4 tsp baking soda.
Pour hot mixture over the 24 cups of popped popcorn and stir with a big spoon very well. Then put a little margarine on your hands and form the popcorn into balls.
Makes 18-20 good sized balls. Store wrapped in clear plastic wrap. They are the best very fresh. This is a nice family winter evening project or after school snack. Enjoy! (PS. Use popcorn that has none or very few unpopped kernals. That kind of ruins the balls.)

About Me: I'm a homeschooled fifteen year old girl in Montana. I have seven siblings and two great Christian parents.
